Recently, the Spark-1 modal test vehicle was successfully delivered at the Hebei final assembly base. This 1:1 scale model replicates the full rocket's exterior and can adjust its mass by adding ballast structures to simulate the actual mass and center of gravity of the complete vehicle – facilitating subsequent R&D efforts in ground system key technology development.

Modal Test Vehicle Delivery – Coordination & Verification Tests

The modal test vehicle is primarily used for ground-vehicle coordination verification tests, including: functional verification tests with the launch support system for erecting, retracting, vertical adjustment, and hold-down release; functional verification tests with the ground assembly support system for hoisting and transfer; and functional verification tests with the launch pad system for transfer, deployment, and retraction.
